Description: Sic Semper Tyrannis (“thus ever to tyrants”) was created with an algorithm composed in the R Statistics Language. A simple algorithm which produces an orderly structure with an emergent diagonal checkerboard patterns dissolving into complexity.

This artwork was shown at the Joint Statistical Meetings 2025 Juried Data Art Show (Nashville, TN), and NUMBERS 2026 Juried Art Exhibition at Manifest Gallery (Cincinnati, OH).

Edition of 3 - 1 acquired, 2 remain.
