Scorched Earth

Description: Scorched Earth generated 50 wavy lines with random height and cycles, then performed 35 rounds of weighted averages that alternated whether each line was influenced by the line above or below. This process creates cross-talk between waves, and smooths extremely high or low values in each line. Wave polygons were formed by selecting a few lines to combine into a tile, which were filled with a partly transparent gradient color and randomly shrunk or expanded. All 50 lines were drawn atop the polygons with random widths in white or light yellow.

This art print is a limited edition of 5 total, which includes different sizes.

The artwork is is sold unframed and shipped to the customer with a certificate of authenticity. Prints are not hand-signed in the margin, which facilitates faster production and shipping. More information about prints is located here.
