Description: Hypernormalization refers to the dissonance of normal life in the midst of existential developments unfold (epidemics, civil unrest, wars, climate change). Generated with R code, the piece involves computing random waves smoothed via spline interpolation. Smooth wave lines and points form a surface with shadows and texture, which suggests motion spreading through a fluid medium.
